The Case Study concerns the insurance company ArchiSurance, which has been formed as the result of a merger of three previously independent companies. The Case Study describes the baseline architecture of the company and then a number of change scenarios.
This Case Study is required to be used as an example throughout ArchiMate Accredited Training Courses. However, it is not part of the definition of the TOGAF® standard. This work supports The Open Group vision of Boundaryless Information Flow™ by illustrating the combined use of the TOGAF and ArchiMate standards for consistent representation of architectural information across diverse organizations, systems, and initiatives.
