Details

The goal of the two-part FACE Software Supplier Getting Started webinar series (Part 1) is to:

  • Announce that the Software Supplier Getting Started Guide is a one-stop source of information for new developers
  • Describe what resources are available to newcomers, and where to find the information

The goal of Part 2 is to:

  • Provide an overview and demonstration of the Basic Avionics Lightweight Source Archetype (BALSA); BALSA is a simplified demonstration operating environment that provides a working example of how to use the FACE Architecture
  • Show how Software Suppliers can use BALSA to integrate their software in a basic computing environment aligned to all of the FACE architecture segments (PCS, TSS, PSSS, and IOSS), without the complexities of a full system
