Technical Standard for SOSA™ Reference Architecture, Edition 1.0, Version 3 (Snapshot)

This document is a Snapshot of what will, after maturation, become the Technical Standard for SOSA (Sensor Open Systems Architecture) Reference Architecture, Edition 1.0. It is being published in order to make public the direction, thinking, and path the SOSA Consortium is taking in the development of the SOSA Reference Architecture.

Snapshot Version 3 continues to define the SOSA functions and behaviors of the modules and associated interfaces, enabling the capability development of interchangeable components for Communications, EO/IR, EW, Radar, and SIGINT sensing. The scope of coverage includes software and hardware, as well as electrical-mechanical interfaces. The approach incorporates relevant business use-cases and supporting guidance documents.

This Snapshot is valid through June 30, 2021 or at the next major release of the SOSA Technical Standard, whichever is sooner.
