The Open Group Library

Help with Account Registration

You will need an account for The Open Group website in order to download documents from The Open Group Library. You do not need to be an employee of a member organization of The Open Group to obtain an account.

Instructions for Users with an existing account for The Open Group Website

If you have an account for The Open Group website, login.

  1. On a first login you may need to confirm your address before proceeding to browse the library.
  2. You can then select items to download, which you can find under "My Account", "My Download History"

Instructions for Users without an existing account for The Open Group Website

If you do not have an existing account, perform the following steps to create one:

  1. Create an account (opens a new window)
  2. Receive the account activation email sent to the business email address in your account and select the link in the email to activate your account.
  3. Log in to this Library page with the credentials from your new account, then confirm your address and proceed to browse the library.
  4. You can then select items to download, which you can find under "My Account", "My Download History"
