Details

The ArchiMate 3.1 Specification is available to all to download free-of-charge for non-commercial use. That will usually mean using it inside your organization. To use the ArchiMate 3.1 Specification for commercial purposes, a Commercial License is available (more ...).

You may download the ArchiMate 3.1 Specification under a free, personal, 90-day Evaluation License; and you may then go on to use it internally under a free, perpetual, Non-commercial License, if you wish. Alternatively, you may take out an annual Commercial License.

How to Apply for an Evaluation License

The download procedure:

  3. Review and accept the licensing conditions which will appear in a popup window

Downloading the ArchiMate® 3.1 Documentation

The ArchiMate 3.1 Specification 90-day Evaluation License:

  • Is issued free-of-charge
  • Is valid for 90 days
  • Is a personal license
    It does not permit you to pass on the ArchiMate 3.1 Documentation to your colleagues. If you want other members of your organization to use or evaluate the ArchiMate 3.1 Specification, they must take out their own Evaluation License via this web page.
  • Covers the evaluation of the ArchiMate 3.1 Specification for commercial use
    However, you may not use the ArchiMate 3.1 Specification commercially under an Evaluation License.
Your organization must have taken out an ArchiMate 3.1 Specification Annual Commercial License in order for you to make commercial use of the ArchiMate 3.1 Specification.
