Description

Details

This webinar explores how data management in Digital Business impacts the types of digitally-enabled business model that are emerging in many industries. For example: smart cities are seeking ways to create connected services; business enterprises are moving to digital channels seeking engagement and creation of customer communities; bitchain currency trading is changing authentication and distribution of services; user experience is changing with real-time services, and with wearables to augment reality. It is presented by the Digital Business Strategy and Customer Experience (DBCX) Work Group.

A core part of these models is the nature of and changes in digitization of data, and its evolution from master data management and open data sets to new types of metadata including device endpoint verification, traffic, usage data, and real-time interaction. How data is identified to people, objects, organizations, and service models is key to the architecting, new visualization, and engagement of new digital business models.

This topic intersects Enterprise Architecture developments in IoT, Big Data, Digital Platform design, and cyber security and will introduce examples of data-driven business models emerging in digital business.

The DBCX Work Group is actively developing meta models and Customer Experience Design guidelines around these and other related themes and we welcome members to come and hear about the work group and its activities.
