Are micro-services an evolution of SOA? How should they be used in Enterprise Architecture?
Description

Details

Micro-services are becoming established as a popular development style to support enterprise agility. Their use on a large scale within an enterprise raises the question of how they should be incorporated in the Enterprise Architecture and, in particular, whether they can be regarded as an extension of a traditional Service-Oriented Architecture, or whether they imply a radically new approach.

The Micro-services Architecture project of The Open Group SOA Work Group has been investigating this question. In this webinar, team members will present their thoughts and answer questions from the audience. Participants will gain an understanding of micro-services architecture and how it relates to traditional SOA, and of how it should be used within an enterprise.
