Developing Standards that Secure the Global Supply Chain

The webinar will provide an introduction to The Open Group Trusted Technology Forum (OTTF), an industry-led initiative of leading Commercial Off-The-Shelf (COTS) Information and Communication Technology (ICT) vendors and customers, and will offer a look at their current work on an open standard for organizational best practices to enhance the security of the global supply chain and the integrity of COTS ICT products. Their work provides a set of best practice requirements and recommendations that help assure against tainted and counterfeit products throughout the COTS ICT product life cycle: design, sourcing, build, fulfillment, distribution, sustainment, and disposal.

The OTTF is a global initiative that invites industry, governments, and other interested participants to work together to evolve this standard and other OTTF deliverables, such as a potential program to accredit Trusted Technology Providers.
