Details

The US Government and TOGAF both maintain strongly that a well described business architecture is key to the development of overall Enterprise Architecture. US Federal enterprise architectural guidance, including that found in FEA and FSAM, offers high-level advice on methodology for describing business architectures. Phase B (Business Architecture) of the TOGAF 9 ADM (Architecture Development Method), offers highly detailed process guidance which maps closely to FEA/FSAM. This webinar will describe this mapping and show examples of artifacts that can be created using FEA/FSAM in concert with TOGAF.

Participants will learn:

  • How to prepare a government Enterprise Architecture practice to use TOGAF
  • How TOGAF defines capability and its use in architecture
  • How the detailed guidance of TOGAF 9 maps to FEA, FSAM, and other US civilian Enterprise Architecture guidance for visioning
  • How the detailed guidance of TOGAF 9 maps to FEA, FSAM, and other US civilian Enterprise Architecture guidance for describing business architectures
  • What TOGAF artifacts (catalogs, matrices, and diagrams) can be useful in visioning overall architectures and describing business architectures
